The Brief

Smallwood Trust’s mission is to enable women to be financially resilient. All of their funding is directed at meeting that. They aim to achieve their outcomes through grant-making, evaluating the projects and approaches that work best.

They asked Southmedia to work with them to create a new website on a CMS that they would find easy to use, enabling them to take donations and to showcase the work that they do and the projects and people that they support.

What was the process?

We established brand guidelines from existing assets and used these to craft a website user interface and corresponding template designs for key pages, including landing pages, resources, case studies, and a donation page.

The design is clean and professional, with impactful images and concise text that effectively convey their goals and achievements in helping women overcome financial adversity.

Additionally, we built a custom theme for a popular WordPress donation platform, which you can see in the image below.

Outcome and conclusion of the project

The website we designed for the Smallwood Trust is designed to clearly communicate its mission of supporting women to achieve financial resilience. The interface is straightforward, offering easy navigation to various sections like their work, strategies, programmes, and impact reports.

It prominently features the trust’s initiatives and partnerships, emphasising their focus on empowering women through financial aid and educational resources. The design is clean and professional, with impactful images and concise text that effectively convey their goals and achievements in helping women overcome financial adversity.

The website is build on the WordPress CRM which enables the Smallwood Trust to keep the website up to date and relevant.
